The ArrayStor 6G SAS/SATA NAS is based on the latest technology. In addition to all basic NAS functions, it supports a variety of advanced storage management and application features such as VAAI, HA, Thin-Provisioning, etc., and because of its ability to support multiple interfaces for different host servers and clients, it can be deployed easily in any IT environment. The ArrayStor Rack mount is 12G SAS / SATA. Any optical disc media inserted into the ArrayStor’s DVD ROM drive—whether CD, DVD, or Blu-ray—will be automatically copied, indexed, and shared to the network via SMB. The system is controlled through an easy-to-use web-based GUI. Any media inserted can easily be managed through that GUI as it creates an easy-to-view list for name changes, different permissions, deleting, and more—making it a powerful disc server and media server solution.

ArrayStor’s file system is EXT4. The EXT4 file system can support volumes with sizes up to 1 Exabyte (EB) (1,000 Terabytes). With the ArrayStor, you will be ready for the high-capacity drives of the future—ideal for archiving CD, DVD, and Blu-ray content.
For data protection, ArrayStor supports RAID level 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, and 50 modes. Drives can be set up as hot spares, include automatic heat regulation, and offer online capacity expansion within the enclosure. ArrayStor has a fully-featured backup solution including manual or scheduled backup for files, folders, and shares. It can back up and restore from multiple local or remote devices. Volume clone, snapshot, remote replication, and data copy options are all designed to ensure and enhance data integrity and protection in any media server setup.
